Professor Arturo Morera was introduced to the martial
arts by his father at the age of seven in Havana, Cuba.
There he was a member of the Havana Judo team. Upon coming
to America in 1980, he studied Karate and Jujitsu in Vero
Beach with professor Bill Willis. At this school he was
introduced to Aikido for the first time and soon found
himself at Atemi Ryu Jujistu's Chendokan classes. He has
given seminars at public and private schools, YMCAs, parks,
and churches. Presently he is the head instructor at the
Hombu dojo.
